Fir Bank Primary School

Brief

Firbank Primary School approached Creative Play looking to redevelop their KS2 outdoor play area. The schools objective was to incorporate a Tower System into the area to promote physical play and to create a watch tower feature for the children to watch the football during play times.

Design

To meet all of the requirements at Firbank Primary School, we provided one of our 4 tower Meru Jigsaw play towers, designed entirely by the children as the Jigsaw range is completely component based. The Jigsaw Tower includes many play features including a requested watch tower, fireman’s pole and several climbing elements to add challenges for the children to traverse from one end to the other

We also provided a 2m mesh fencing around the playground to provide a perimeter edging to the area.

The new facility is encouraging the children to be more active, sociable and better able to concentrate when they return to lessons, which is great to hear!

Installation

When completing the installation at Firbank Primary School we worked closely with the staff within the school to ensure the project ran smoothly and the children loved seeing their new play area coming together. Overall the project was completed within the timeframe required and the school and most importantly the children, love their new playground!
