City Road Primary Academy

THE BRIEF

Wanting to update their KS1 play area, City Road Primary Academy got in touch with Creative Play. During their playground consultation it became apparent that they wanted to include a combination of physical and imaginative play opportunities.

Together we knew we wanted to incorporate one of our Adventure Galley ships as they combine classic physical play features, such as a slide, climbing blocks and net climber, in a vibrant and exciting pirate ship perfect for encouraging imaginative play. Our green option First Mate was selected by City Road along with blue Wetpour Safety Surfacing to create a fun ‘splash’ zone, complementing the ship theme well.

We even custom engraved the school’s name onto the First Mate to add that extra personalised touch!
