About Tim

Essentially, I am a member of the face to face sales team at Creative Play. I am responsible for meeting customers within a designated selection of regional post codes.

Our main aim is to design a fabulous play space through a very consultative approach, by meeting face to face with customers at their site. No two sites or customers are the same.

Each meeting establishes specific requirements and customer goals for the development of their children who have the fantastic opportunity to play on a Creative Play installed play area.

Quite often, the process can take several months from the initial meeting to come to fruition. The process would start with a qualified telephone call with our fantastic head office team. When the qualification process is achieved the customer will then have a face to face meeting with me. From there we will consult/review and agree specific play opportunities for the children. The design team at our head office are then required to bring it to life by way of a three dimensional visual or design and detailed quotation. I then have the opportunity to present the new proposal to the customers and get immediate feedback, both good and bad, allowing me to revise/make changes to the proposal with help from the design team. If we are then lucky enough to win the order it is then scheduled for manufacture and installation! Exciting times ahead!

I get great enjoyment out of working with our customers, both new and returning. We forge strong and trusting relationships, enabling us to work with our customers over and over again.

The main Creative Play positive for me is the "family business" feel within. I am supported in all I do and empowered to use my wider knowledge to make decisions and suggestions to bolster the ever changing and developing business that I am proud to be a part of. Success is a journey, not a destination!

I've had many fabulous roles in many different organisations, but none have been anywhere near as cool as selling play equipment!

Hobbies

I have played golf pretty much all my life and have represented various golf clubs across Chester and North Wales over the years.

More recently, my wife Clare, daughter Poppy and I have taken to Kayaking (me) and paddle boarding (them) with our favourite place to go being Llyn Padarn in Llanberis, at the bottom of Mount Snowdon.

As a family we enjoy eating out, nice wines and general socialising, most of the time with our new puppy Steve.
