Ysgol Babanod T Gwynn Jones

BRIEF: After it’s existing Early Years tower system was condemned, Ysgol Babanod T Gwynn Jones got in touch with Creative Play in regards to rejuvenating the area. Wanting to include a new, larger Early Years tower system we knew we this project would be slightly tricky due to the small amount of space available.

Fortunately our Jigsaw play tower range is ideal for projects such as Ysgol Babanod T Gwynn Jones. With individual components being able to be selected we could work with the school to include the play features they wanted while also maximising the available space. Initially wanting a two tower design with a bridge in-between, their space was too small to ensure all BSEN 1176 requirements would be met. However due to the customisable nature of our Jigsaw range we were able to push the two towers together to create a larger platform space that could have more play features attached; items such as our 0.6m slide, stairs, climbing panel and net climber were included.

Black Wetpour Safety Surfacing was then laid under the equipment to provide an all-weather surface.
