Locks Heath Infant School

Locks Heath Infant School reached out to Creative Play looking to add an element of both physical and imaginative play to their outdoor play space.

After meeting with the school and understanding their requirements, it was decided the best piece of play equipment to incorporate in to the area would be our Quartermaster Ship! The Ship provides a huge variety of play features and has been designed to encourage physical and imaginative play, as requested!

In addition to the Quartermaster we laid Wetpour safety surfacing to not only ensure the area meets all BSEN 1176/1177 safety standards but also create the illusion of the boat being in the sea to add that extra touch of fantasy to spark imaginative play.

Overall the development at Locks Heath Infant School met all of the requirements of the school and looks fantastic. It’s such a transformation to the outdoor space and a great project to have been a part of!
