BRIEF

Wanting to transform three different areas, spanning from Nursery all the way up to KS2, Leagrave Primary School got in touch with Creative Play after hearing positive feedback from a local school. With three areas to transform we were excited to be working on such a large development.

DESIGN

For the Nursery area, Leagrave Primary School wanted a challenging, yet age appropriate, climbing structure to be the main focal point. We created a custom Jigsaw play tower to meet the needs of the young children while still encouraging risky play. Low level trim trail items and a Timber Sandbox were also added to the area to provide a wider range of play activities. For their Early Years area we again created a custom Jigsaw Play Tower, now a taller 0.9m high design. With more challenging play features it again reflects the ability levels of the age group. Our popular Water Play Midi One was also included in the area to provide the opportunity for more sensory-focused play. Finally for the KS1 & KS2 area Leagrave Primary School wanted to a include a third and final Jigsaw Play Tower. Again raising the height to of the structure up to 1.5m, trickier play features could be added such as a Firefighter’s Pole and a challenging Staggered Inclined Walkway.

INSTALLATION

With our installation team working across three different play areas it was essential that everyone involved worked effectively together to ensure a successful outcome.
As our Jigsaw range allows people to create unique, bespoke play structures we had to work closely with the staff at Leagrave Primary School to ensure their designs met their individual requirements.
With so much more outdoor play opportunities now available at Leagrave Primary School we are certain both pupils and teachers will love their transformed play spaces.
