About Andrea

As an Area Sales Manager for the Midlands, no two days are the same! From meeting all kinds of lovely people in schools, parish councils, holiday parks and pubs, every single project is different. Living in the heart of rural England means my days are spent travelling on the road in all weathers, so preparation is key – and extra boots are essential! It all adds to the fun…

Once I arrive on site, the process for me begins with listening to our customers’ needs and their vision for the future. I then survey their potential new play area and suggest equipment that offers the greatest play value and return for the customer. From there, I create a detailed brief with further ideas, which is then sent to our amazing design department – this is where the visuals come to life. I’m then able to present these back to our customers. This always feels like Christmas morning to me, full of excitement and anticipation!

My favourite part of the job is when a customer says they never thought they could have a playground like that, and the proposal exceeds all expectations – especially in terms of maximising play value and making their budget work as hard as possible. It's even more rewarding when we’re helping to create play spaces that are inclusive and accessible for all children to enjoy.

Hobbies

Gardening – much to the disapproval of my boys and their dislike of visiting garden centres! Long walks with my dogs, and weekends away following Wolverhampton Wanderers FC up and down the country with my husband.

I used to hold a second dan black belt in karate!
