Celebrate Roald Dahl Day with Creative Play

Coloured Bar

Celebrating the author’s birthday later this week on the 13th of September, Roald Day Day is the perfect opportunity to nurture children’s imaginations. With many different ways to celebrate, from dressing up as your favourite Roald Dahl character to reading your favourite Roald Dahl book, why not integrate something into your outdoor play space that will allow children to celebrate all year round?

With our extensive catalogue of products, we have something to suit everyone from EYFS all the way up to KS2. See below for our top 4 ways to bring a little Roald Dahl whimsy into your outdoor playground.

Invent magic potions!

George’s Marvellous Medicine:

Children will enjoy using their imagination whilst they cook up exciting new magic concoctions with one of our Messy Play Tables or Mud Kitchens. Ideal for sensory play, they provide children with a area in which they can experiment and grow while they solve problems and build on their communication skills through open-ended play.
