Ysgol Sant Elfod

Ysgol Sant Elfod contacted Creative Play as they wanted to add to their existing trim trail circuit. The existing circuit included more balance & co-ordination-based trim trail items such as a clatterbridge and log walk so Ysgol Sant Elfod wanted to include more traditional physical and strength based items.

With this information we decided on including a variety of climbing nets such as our Crawling Net, Junior Climbing Net and A-Frame Double Net to encourage more strength-based physical play as well as a set of Hurdles to encourage open-ended play.

As none of the selected trim trail items exceeded a free fall height of 1.5m, and the grass at Ysgol Sant Elfod was well-maintained, no safety surfacing was required in this project to meet the stringent requirements of BSEN 1177.
