Description

BRIEF

Ysgol Bro Lleu contacted Creative Play as they had been chosen to receive funds via a grant through Tesco’s Bags of Help scheme, and were looking to incorporate fitness and climbing equipment into their existing outdoor play area. The school had a big grass field for the children to play in so they wanted a variety of Trim Trail. This allowed the school to promote physical health and encourage more physical activity in a more unstructured way unlike PE lessons.

DESIGN

As we have over 40 different products in our Trim Trail range the school went for a wide range of equipment incorporating 15 interactive fitness activities from balance beams and climbing frames through to monkey bars and swinging ropes. By incorporating a large number of items into the outdoor area this quickly filled up their empty grass field and was an excellent, cost-effective way of providing lots of different activities while maximising play value.
The playground at Ysgol Bro Lleu now promotes balance and coordination, upper body strength and gross motor skills targeting a whole range of muscle groups.

INSTALLATION

During the whole installation process we worked closely with the headteacher at the Ysgol Bro Lleu to ensure the project went as smoothly as possible.
Taking just a week to install all 15 products, the school could not have been happier and we were very pleased to have been part of such a great development.
We hope this new play area keeps the pupils active during break and lesson times for many years to come.
