Wimborne St Giles Infant School

Wimborne St Giles Infant School wanted to completely redevelop their school playground with exciting new playground equipment. The children decided that they wanted their new play space to include a climbing wall and tower system as they wanted to provide lots of play opportunities that they could all enjoy.

DESIGN
For the tower system, Wimborne St Giles Infant School went with our Zenith Two- Rustic, as it includes lots of fun features such as a slide, clatterbridge & firefighter pole. We decided early on that all Playtec fixtures, including the Climbing Wall, in this development would be in our green option to compliment the natural surroundings of the space.
Using the children’s playground wish-list as a starting point we were inspired to add more equipment to promote open-ended, physical play and to utilise the space. We decided to include our popular Jungle Climber Mini as it is great for group play and encourages balance & co-ordination skills. We also included our Adventure Trail 6 as with its mini climbing walls, rope walk and rope bridge, it packs lots of play features into a limited space. We also included black Wetpour Safety Surfacing to bring the whole development together & to completely rejuvenate the space.

INSTALLATION
Our fantastic sales and design teams worked closely with the school to produce an innovative, and exciting playground proposal consisting of a mixture of new equipment and Wetpour Safety Surfacing.

Our install teams involved in the project worked extremely hard to ensure a smooth installation that provided no disruption to the day to day running of the school. The finished result was great and a credit to all teams involved in the project!
