BRIEF: The staff at Westlands First School were looking to replace an existing surface of grass and mud with an all-weather use safety surfacing. They also wanted some new trim trail items to further promote physical play at the school.
We installed green rubber mulch to the existing grass area to provide a safety surface for the children to play on all year round. Available in 4 different colours (Brown, Blue, Green and Woodland mix), Rubber Mulch surfacing is ideal where a natural aesthetic is required. Designed to resemble bark, rubber mulch is made from recycled forklift truck tyres making this surfacing solution an extremely environmentally friendly option!
A rope bridge, climbing wall and six stepping logs from our challenger range were added in addition to the new surfacing. All of the Challenger items can be installed into your playground as a great one-off outdoor product, or expanded as your budget and requirements change, making them an extremely popular product!
