Upminster Junior School

Upminster Junior School contacted Creative Play in regards to developing their existing play area with a variety of play equipment.
This included climbing equipment and a sheltered area as well as another rectangular area to which they were open to ideas.

DESIGN
After discussing different designs with the school they decided to go with a Trim Trail area which was to include popular products like the Tyre Crossing, Climbing Walls, Log Walks and Stepping Logs along with a Jungle Climber Mini and Midi for children to fulfil their natural desires to climb!

For the requested sheltered area Upminster Junior School had a Bespoke Cambridge Shelter, this was ideal for the school as it was large with a polycarbonate roof system. As well as all the above the school had also asked for seating to be provided around the new playground and Green Mesh fencing to surround the equipment. To finish the new outdoor play area we added Green/Black fleck Wetpour safety surfacing to provide a safer all weather surface for the children, this was used as a trail around the playground.

INSTALLATION
After looking through the design of the development we were very excited to see the final project. As part of our installation, we installed extensive groundworks to serve as a suitable sub-base underneath the equipment and safety surfacing. Preparation by the installation team was paramount in ensuring a professional end result.

We worked closely with the school ensuring any queries or requirements were met throughout and the school were extremely happy with the playground once completed!
The installation was completed on budget and on time, ready for the grand official opening.
