The Grange Therapeutic School

BRIEF

After working on an impressive development for sister school Kestrel House, The Grange Therapeutic School wanted Creative Play to transform a small area of their existing outdoor space into an exciting play area.
A specialist SEN school, it was essential that we were mindful of their additional needs so we worked very closely with the school’s staff throughout the project to ensure all their individual requirements were met.
Together we decided that our impressive Heartwood tower system would be ideal for their pupils as it is packed with a large number of play features that children with a wide range of ability levels could utilise. Including two slides, climbing net, and climbing panels it also features two flat seat swings ; making this an ideal one-stop play structure!
To ensure this newly created playground meet all British and European safety standards, we added black Wetpour Safety Surfacing under the equipment’s operating area. This also provides a great all-weather play surface and ensures The Grange’s pupils can access their new playground throughout the year!
