Seven Sisters Primary School

South Grove, London, Greater London, London, N15 5QE

Coloured Bar

The existing area at Seven Sisters included a selection of climbing equipment; however the school wanted to replace this with a range of equipment to promote active play & space for a quiet area. They also wanted to replace their bark surfacing with artificial grass

– due to their urban location they were determined to keep the area as natural-looking as possible.

DESIGN
We wanted to keep the area looking natural while ensuring it provided the children with a variety of challenging and engaging equipment.

We selected our Zenith Three Multi tower system in the Rustic option to keep the natural aesthetic of the area. This tower system is packed with play features including: a slide, inclined net ramp, clatterbridge and firefighter’s pole to encourage active and imaginative play. As the school wanted to provide an area for the children to relax, we installed a selection of our benches as well as our popular mound tunnel.

The area was finished with our artificial grass surfacing, ensuring the school received an area that looked natural and provided the children with their much needed green space.

INSTALLATION
We were particularly looking forward to this project as it would make a huge difference to the children having a green space in which they can go to play and relax. As the installation took place during term time, it meant that the children were able to watch the development as it progressed and could ask us any questions they had about their new playground and how we created it.
