Risley Avenue Primary School

The Roundway, London, Greater London, London, N17 7AB

Coloured Bar

With three areas to develop including the school garden, Risley Avenue promised to be an exciting project to work on, particularly due to the garden’s Grade 2 Listed status. The school wanted the areas to include a variety of equipment to encourage all forms of creative, imaginative and physical play.

DESIGN
This was an exciting project to work on due to the variety of equipment required by the school. We decided that as a main focal point we would install our popular Fort Riley tower system which encourages both imaginative and creative play through a whole host of exciting play features including a slide, firefighter’s pole, climbing net and rope bridge.

We also selected a variety of sports target panels to encourage the children to improve their coordination and sporting abilities- these can also be used as part of curriculum led PE lessons. The inclusion of our Dart Activity Centre and selected items from our Challenger Trim Trail range were installed to encourage physical play amongst the children – our trim trail items in particular promote the development of fundamental movement skills as the children experiment with new ways to move around the equipment.

INSTALLATION
The installation at Risley Avenue presented a set of challenges for our installation teams, including the listed status of the school garden area and the time frame in which the installation was to be completed in.

Our expert teams rose to the challenge however and were able to deliver a quality installation that fulfilled all requirements, that the school and pupils will be proud of for years to come.
Well done to everyone involved!
