After seeing a playground we completed at a local school, Berger Primary school contacted us with regards to developing their existing playground spaces. With only a handful of existing equipment and four areas to develop, this was going to be a huge project that we couldn’t wait to get started on.

DESIGN
It was important to the school that their playgrounds stood out, and therefore we decided to install a variety of our impressive tower systems into both their KS1 and KS2 areas.
In order to create a focused EYFS area, we wanted to incorporate a range of equipment to cover the key areas of development, with a specific focus on active and imaginative play.
Our popular Octavia Half Shelter was installed in the outdoor learning area along with a chalkboard, whiteboard, storytelling area and selection of planters to create a relaxed and positive learning environment.

All four areas were finished with a variety of safety surfacing including our Recycled Rubber Bonded Mulch and Wetpour surfacing to ensure that all areas meet the British and European Safety Standards.

INSTALLATION
With four large areas to develop, this was a challenging project that we couldn’t wait to get started on! The wide variety of equipment and surfacing transformed the area into a vibrant and engaging space, providing the children with fun and challenging pieces of equipment. The finished playgrounds look fantastic and are a credit to everybody involved throughout the process.
