Alma Park Primary School

BRIEF Being a new school build, staff at Alma Park had a blank canvas and wanted to include items to promote challenging physical activity whilst providing equipment to promote stimulating, sensory and imaginative play.

From it was clear what school wanted to achieve from development. To tick all of boxes we selected items from our new Water Play Range such as Water Walls and a Mud Kitchen teamed with a variety of Playboards to provide stimulating, social and sensory play with added educational elements.

DESIGN We also incorporated a Tower System, Jungle Climber and Trim Trail items into design to provide challenging physical play. We added sheltered areas to allow for outdoor learning and covered social areas for use at breaks and lunchtimes. To create ‘woodland’ area we selected a Timber Playhouse Arc, Tee Pees and Mushroom Seating and resurfaced using our mulch safety surfacing to give a natural aesthetic. This created a beautiful shaded area perfect for imaginative play.

INSTALLATION Our fantastic sales and design teams worked closely with school to produce an innovative, and exciting Early Years playground proposal consisting of a mixture of new equipment, shelters and surfacing.
Our install teams involved in project worked extremely hard to ensure a smooth installation that provided no disruption to day to day running of school.

Overall the finished result was great and a credit to all teams involved in project. design transformed look of playground and complimented new school build perfectly. A great job to be involved in!
