Acorns Children’s Hopsital Trust

Acorns Children Hospital contacted Creative Play after just securing funding to replace their existing soft play surfacing which was nearly 11 years old and beginning to crack.

After meeting with them they decided to have a look into having a roadway design incorporated in to the new surfacing. Also, to have some artificial grass to be laid under an existing canopy area.

Our design team put a design together, this included a roadway design with traffic lights, a zebra crossing and a roundabout to really promote imaginative play. This was laid into Blue/Dark Blue flecked Wetpour Safety surfacing which really makes the roadway stand out! Along with this the hospital had the artificial grass surfacing laid under the canopy area to create a chilled area.The end results look astounding and most importantly Acorns Children Hospital Trust love their new outdoor play area!
