Choose Respect – Anti-Bullying Week 2018

Coloured Bar

Every day bullying happens across the whole entire world. Bullying has a massive impact on any individual whether at school, work, college, with friends – it happens anywhere and everywhere.

Anti-Bullying Alliance have organised Anti Bullying week 2018 between 12th – 16th November to encourage people to take a stand against bullying and raise awareness across the board.

This year’s theme is ‘Choose Respect’ with the idea to support individuals in understanding the definition of RESPECT, showing that bullying is a behaviour choice and we can all set a positive example by choosing to respect each other.

Anti –Bullying Week provides a great platform to enable people to talk openly about the effects of bullying and take action against it.

Anti-Bullying Alliance have completed surveys and polls and revealed some concerning results, as you can see below.

Here at Creative Play we fully support this national campaign and working with schools we understand the challenges bullying creates and we like to think we can support this with products we offer.

We offer a range of products that encourages children to work together in the playground, build relationships within the school environment as this is a place children can make friends for life, allow children to collaborate with each other and encourage Imaginative Play.

Imaginative Play is fantastic for encouraging children to role play and become new characters. This helps children understand the concepts of empathy, compassion and regulating emotions – understanding RESPECT.

You can get involved this week and help stop bullying! Anti-Bullying Alliance have provided great tools and resources to get children involved and help give them a better understanding. Click here for more
