What We Can Offer
With over 30 years of experience, Creative Play has designed and manufactured more than 600 playground products, combining quality materials, advanced production techniques, and skilled craftsmanship to deliver durable, high quality solutions.
All timber is UK sourced from FSC certified suppliers, and every product is manufactured in Chester by our trained and experienced operatives to maintain strict quality control.
Our products meet and exceed the requirements of BS EN 1176, we are ISO 9001 accredited, and as a manufacturer, we retain full control over production timescales and priorities to ensure reliable delivery and exceptional standards.
Materials
Our products are built using high-quality, durable, and sustainable materials designed for long-lasting outdoor performance. The majority of our timber uprights are made from UK-sourced pine, square cut from the heart of the tree to prevent splitting, and pressure treated (chrome and arsenic free) to resist rot and infestation.
Round timbers measure 125mm, square timbers 90mm, and all are guaranteed for 20 years. Eko grip boards, made from robust post-consumer recycled material with a slip-resistant thermoplastic elastomer surface, provide safety and durability for platforms and floors.
We use 80% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) HDPE ‘Playtec PCR’ coloured panels for non-structural design elements, available in a range of colours
All fixtures and fastenings are high-quality, rust-resistant, tamper-proof, and designed for strength and outdoor durability. Our ropes and nets use steel-reinforced, multi-filament polypropylene with a tested safe load of 9,000kg and are guaranteed for five years against structural failure.
Steel components are zinc primed, galvanised, and powder coated for maximum protection and strength, ensuring every product is built to last in any environment.
CNC Personalisation
With three state-of-the-art CNC machines on site in our dedicated manufacturing facility, we have the capability to produce virtually any design to meet your client’s exact specifications.

Spare parts
As an equipment manufacturer, opposed to a distributor, we are in full control of manufacturing time-scales and priorities. Spare parts can be manufactured quickly and are readily available should they be needed for the lifetime of the product. Need spare parts? Get in touch with our dedicated Aftersales Team.
Gaurantees
Your trade purchase is covered by our material and manufacturer guarantees, offering some of the longest warranties in the industry. Should a product or material fault occur, we will provide a replacement part free of charge. If fitting is required, an additional installation charge will apply. Full details are available here.
