After receiving grant funding to develop the Fletchers Croft play space at Steyning Parish Council, a rigorous year-long consultation took place via a working party including members of the parish council, district council and country council as well as members of the public to discuss the plans of how to spend their funds efficiently.
We worked with Steyning Parish Council throughout the public consultation to guarantee we met all the needs of the community whilst ensuring there were play features for children of all ages and abilities and the area as a whole met the BS EN 1176/77 standards.
To offer the best play value we incorporated many swings, a jigsaw play tower, tractor play structure and a selection of spring riders, play panels and a seesaw to provide an area packed full of play for children of all ages!
We we’re lucky enough to attend the playground grand opening and the attendance and comments were overwhelming! Steyning Parish Council now have a play area that many children will enjoy for many years to come!
