St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School outdoor play environment provides pupils with opportunities to enjoy physical activity, socialise with classmates and develop skills beyond the classroom. The school based in Great Malvern, Worcestershire, has added a Jungle Climber Midi to its outdoor play area, giving pupils a new way to stay active and challenge themselves. Featuring rounded timber elements, the climbing frame encourages children to explore their abilities, use their imagination and enjoy more adventurous outdoor play.

The aim was to introduce a new piece of play equipment that would encourage pupils to be more active and enjoy a greater variety of outdoor experiences. The Jungle Climber Midi offers an engaging physical challenge while supporting confidence, coordination and imaginative play.

The sloped area provided an opportunity to introduce play equipment that worked with the natural landscape. The Jungle Climber Midi was installed to make use of the incline, creating an interesting feature within the school grounds. Its rounded timber construction blends naturally into the outdoor setting, while the climbing structure adds variety to the space and gives pupils a new feature to enjoy during playtime.

The Jungle Climber Midi gives pupils more opportunities to climb, develop physical skills and use their imaginations during outdoor play. Its natural timber design and varied climbing challenges provide an engaging addition to the school grounds.
