Creative Play returned to South Harringay School in London to deliver a new playground development at its Junior Site. Having previously worked with the school in 2024 on its Infant and Nursery site, we were pleased to continue supporting the school with its outdoor play provision.

The project introduced a bespoke four-tower Jigsaw unit, overhead ladder, traverse wall, bespoke chin-up bars and blue artificial wetpour safety surfacing, creating a space designed to encourage active play, physical development and confidence.

South Harringay School’s Junior Site aimed to provide pupils with an engaging outdoor play space featuring a variety of physical challenges. By combining climbing equipment, overhead activities and bespoke fitness-style elements, the playground offers opportunities for children to develop strength, coordination, balance and confidence through active play.

The project brought together several different play elements within one playground development. The bespoke Jigsaw unit, traverse wall, overhead ladder and chin-up bars provide a variety of physical challenges, while the blue wetpour safety surfacing completes the space.

Our London install team coordinated the installation of the bespoke equipment and artificial wetpour safety surfacing, working through some of the hottest weather on record to bring the playground design together into a finished space ready for outdoor activity.

The completed playground provides South Harringay School’s junior pupils with a varied environment for climbing, movement and physical challenge. With multiple activities incorporated into the design, the new space encourages children to build physical skills, test their abilities and enjoy active outdoor play.
