Customer Objectives

The project brings together a varied range of play equipment and inclusive features to create an engaging community space where younger children can explore, develop physical skills and enjoy play together.

Playground Development Challenges & Solutions:

Creating a varied play space for younger children while catering for different abilities required a considered mix of equipment and surfacing. The Kangto Jigsaw Play Tower, with six low-level towers across two platform heights, provides accessible challenges that encourage exploration and build confidence. The Mersey Climbing Frame adds opportunities to develop balance and coordination, while the Solo Spinner introduces an exciting spinning experience. To support inclusive play, a wheelchair-inclusive roundabout was also installed, alongside grass mats and black and green wetpour safety surfacing to complete the playground.
