Storytime Set

The Storytime Set is designed to create a dynamic outdoor learning and play space, encouraging children to gather, interact, and engage in imaginative storytelling. The oversized wooden giant’s chair serves as a focal point for storytime, role-play, and creative games, allowing children to explore narratives and characters while developing language, social, and cooperative skills. Its simple design supports endless imaginative possibilities, from acting as kings and queens in a castle to giants in fairy tales, while children can also decorate it using fabrics or props to enhance creative play.

Crafted from high-quality, play-treated timber, the chair and accompanying benches are fully constructed, freestanding, and include ground fixings to ensure stability and safety. Smooth edges and robust construction allow children to climb, sit, or hide underneath safely, supporting physical confidence, balance, and motor skill development.

The small benches provide additional seating and flexible play opportunities for children of all ages. Freestanding and sturdy, they can be positioned anywhere in the playground, classroom, or hall, making them ideal for group activities, breakout sessions, or rest areas. Built to withstand outdoor use and active play, the Storytime Set is a long-lasting, low-maintenance addition to any freestanding playground equipment collection, combining imaginative, social, and physical learning benefits.
