Orchard Lea Nursery

Brief

After previously working with Orchard Lea Nursery on a different site, contact was made with Creative Play to assist with the playground development in a second setting. The nursery were looking for similar equipment and wanted to make a unique feature in the outdoor play area as well as creating an overall space that will keep children engaged.

Design

Orchard Lea Nursery had a great outdoor space that we could work with. Having previously installed out Lilliput Playtown Two at their other site, by request we incorporated the same tower system into the new setting. Along with the Lilliput Playtown Two, we also added our Chalk Board, Teepee and Trellis Archway to provide a wide range of play opportunities.
The main feature within this development was the Wetpour Safety Surfacing. We laid different colours in the area to create a trail through the equipment and to add a splash of colour around each product to create individual play stations. This looked really effective and with adding a roadway design with a zebra crossing, even more play value was added! The overall project was designed to incorporate all different aspects of play including physical, imaginative and creative and this all comes together well within the development.

Installation

We were very excited to start the development at Orchard Lea Nursery as the proposed designs looked great! After installing the equipment our biggest challenge was to complete to intricate Wetpour Safety Surfacing designs.
Creative Play worked closely with the Nursery to ensure everything was done to customer satisfaction and they are extremely pleased with the finished results.
