Oasis Academy contacted Creative Play in relation to developing their existing Infant and Junior playground. As the academy had only just moved to the present site there was no equipment, they wanted something to give the outdoor play area the WOW factor and to be exciting and engaging for the children.

DESIGN
Oasis Academy had explained they were looking for a quiet area in the KS1 playground, which was to include a stage/shade and seating, trim trail and play boards. In the KS2 playground they were looking for a Jungle Climber and artificial grass surfacing. Following this the design team created a plan of what the area could look like and the Academy loved the designs.
Oasis Academy came to the decision to have the Jungle climber Combi without Slide; this encourages children to use their imagination for unstructured play and great fun all round. They also had seating placed under an existing shelter, various Trim Trail items including Stilts and a Tri-Sprung Beam, along with a Basket Ball and Target panel. This is a great variety of equipment to keep children playing for hours! The academy also went with artificial grass surfacing to allow all weather use, which incorporated a shock pad to allow for the relevant fall heights of the equipment which ensures the installation conforms to BSEN1176 and EN1177 safety standards.

INSTALLATION
Due to the knowledge and capability of the whole Creative Play team, the installation at Oasis Academy Ryelands was delivered on time and to a high standard with minimal disruptions. The artificial grass safety surfacing looks amazing and the school are extremely happy with the final development which now serves as a focal point to the school playground facilities.
