Heacham Junior School

Heacham Junior School contacted Creative Play after receiving a recommendation from a local school we had previously worked with, and where looking to develop their outdoor area. The school had been working hard to fundraise with the help from the PTA and wanted to add a play ship to encourage imaginative play.

We added our ‘The Captain’ Pirate Ship in our blue and yellow Playtec and engraved ‘HMS Darley’ onto the front of the boat to add a personalised touch.

Blue Rubber Mulch safety surfacing was laid below the ship to encourage all-weather use, and allow children to imagine the ship is within a sea setting; sparking their imagination. The incorporation of this safety surface also ensure all BSEN 1176/ 1177 safety standards were met.
