Case Study: The Mulberry Primary School
The Mulberry Primary School contact Creative Play looking to update a big section of their outdoor area with playground equipment that would promote physical play.
When given the proposed plans for the development at The Mulberry Primary School and looking at the size of the area we knew we could create a great focal piece.
We combined many different Trim Trail items including Swinging Grips, Stepping Logs, A-Frame Double Net and Gripped Rope Walk along with a Chalk Board, White Board, Noughts and Crosses as well as some of our One-20 Benches to be positioned around an existing stage area.
In addition to the above, thermoplastic markings were also added to provide the ultimate playground experience for the pupils. Wetpour Safety Surfacing was used to allow all weather use and to meet the BSEN 1176/1177 safety requirements.
Multiple colours of Wetpour were used to really make the playground stand out, Green, Yellow, Red and Lilac. The colours were incorporated to create different play stations and a circuit around the Trim Trail equipment.
When we saw the plans for the project at The Mulberry Primary School we were excited to be given such a huge project.
The Wetpour Safety Surfacing really set the development apart as well as providing the school with everything they had requested.
The playground was completed within the requested time scale and with minimal disruption to the school making the overall project a success!
